Autonomous trucking pioneer Aurora is grappling with supply chain disruptions and quality control hurdles in its production pipeline. The company has partnered with manufacturing specialist Roush to handle the upfitting of its autonomous commercial trucks.
Despite the operational setbacks, Aurora maintains that its long-term deployment schedule remains on track. Leadership continues to anticipate having more than 1,000 fully equipped autonomous trucks ready for commercial operation by the end of 2027.
